Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 August 2026

Marble Pantry, a brand of Scale Media LLC ("we", "us", "our"), operates marblepantry.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it.

Information we collect

  • Contact and order details — name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, and what you ordered. You give us this at checkout.
  • Payment information — card details are entered directly into Shopify Payments and its processors. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Account information — if you create an account, your login details and saved addresses.
  • Marketing preferences — your email address if you subscribe, and whether you have opted out.
  • Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and which pages you viewed. Collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Support correspondence — anything you send us by email or through our contact form.

How we use it

  • To process, fulfil, ship and track your order, and to handle returns and refunds.
  • To send transactional emails: order confirmation, shipping confirmation, delivery updates, refund confirmation.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your questions.
  • To send marketing emails, only if you opted in. Every one has an unsubscribe link.
  • To measure and improve the site: which products people look at, where the checkout loses people, which ads work.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, chargeback abuse and other misuse.
  • To comply with tax, accounting and other legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the store, and only what they need:

  • Shopify — our ecommerce platform. It hosts the store and processes orders.
  • Payment processors — Shopify Payments, PayPal, and similar, to take payment and handle disputes.
  • Shipping carriers and fulfilment partners — to pick, pack and deliver your parcel. They receive your name, address and phone number.
  • Email and marketing platforms — to send the transactional and marketing emails described above.
  • Analytics and advertising platforms — including Google and Meta, to measure site performance and ad results. Depending on where you live, this sharing may be treated as "sharing for targeted advertising" or a "sale" under state privacy laws. You can opt out using the link in the section below.
  • Professional advisers and authorities — where legally required, or to establish or defend legal claims.

Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to run the cart and checkout, plus analytics and advertising cookies. You can refuse non-essential cookies through the banner on your first visit, or block them in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies will break the cart.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is wrong
  • Delete your information
  • Receive a portable copy of it
  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for targeted advertising
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where we rely on it

To exercise any of these, email us at the address below with the word "Privacy" in the subject line. We respond within 30 days and we will not discriminate against you for asking. We may need to verify your identity first.

If you are in California, you can also use the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our footer to opt out of sharing for targeted advertising. We honour Global Privacy Control signals.

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically seven years. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Support emails are kept for two years. Analytics data is retained according to each platform's own retention settings.

Security

Payment pages are encrypted in transit and card data is handled by PCI-compliant processors, not by us. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send card numbers or passwords to us by email.

Children

Our store is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

International transfers

We are based in the United States and our service providers may process your information there or elsewhere. Where we transfer personal information out of the UK or European Economic Area, we rely on recognised safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or the law. The revised version is posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
